Speech Clinic Morley provides speech therapy across their childhood and teenage years who live in the Morley area. We advocate for early intervention. It’s critically important to recognise signs of potential speech, language, literacy or social difficulties, as this helps us to minimise future impacts on social and academic success.

We’re always asked, “when is the best age to start speech therapy?”. Earliest is always best. Speech and Language Pathologists can provide therapy and complete speech pathology assessments to kids from 16 months to 18 years old. There is strong evidence supporting early intervention. When a speech therapist can support a child from birth until 4-5 years old, they can reduce the long-term impacts of a communication or language disorder. This gives kids their best chance to be ready for school. Sometimes speech, literacy, fluency, language and social interaction difficulties can become present throughout a child’s schooling years. We also love to support school-aged children and adolescents to reach their academic and social potential.
